Each Chapter of Civil Procedure & Practice in Ontario has three parts.
Part 1 of each Chapter contains the text of the legislation or regulation as it was enacted. The text of the legislation or regulation appears in a grey box.
Part 1 also contains plain-language explanations of the different sections of the law . Green-highlighted words are links to a glossary of civil procedure terms, that will be part of Civil Procedure in Ontario. Blue-highlighted terms are links to other chapters within Civil Procedure in Ontario.
Part 2 of each Chapter has links to other documents that may be useful to users of this Chapter. This includes (i) other Chapters of Civil Procedure in Ontario, and (ii) other documents, videos, and webpages that are relevant, and (iii) a flow chart illustrating the application of rule.
Part 3 of each chapter adds detail about specific issues. It also provides summaries of court decisions that have interpreted this part of the law.
